Last Saturday we ventured to the races to celebrate Ken's birthday. We had a great time and Isla enjoyed all the new sights and smells. Nedd and Dylan also marveled at the horses but Nedd was a little dissapointed that the race finished so soon, "Is that it?" he queried! The boys are used to watching motor sport that goes round and round for ages.

On another note, we started Isla on solids and she is enjoying the new sensations and tastes - although as you might guess, most ends up anywhere but her mouth!

Slack but busy

Hi all, we are well aware of the fact that we haven't been up to our usual blogging standards so we hope this keeps everyone up to date. As could be imagined we have been flat out.


Isla is doing very well and keeping us amused and capitavated every day.

Our car finally died, so we purchased our first ever car a Toyota Corolla. The best thing is that it has air con.
We recently took Isla on her first plane trip to visit the O'Donnell's and Mcloughlin's in Canberra. Here are some pics.















We had a wonderful time and Isla was very well behaved on all flights, even though our flight home was delayed by over 2 hours.

Today we are getting our roof insullated as a pre-emptive strike against the foreboding summer temperatures, so fingers crossed that it works.
